3) Vocal separation + lyric synchronization

Croonify removes vocals and aligns your lyrics to the vocal performance. That alignment is what makes the video feel “real karaoke” instead of a static lyrics overlay.

4) Export a karaoke video

Croonify outputs a karaoke video designed to be easy to share: high quality rendering and small file sizes. You can also add a background image or video using built-in tools.

Common issues

Don’t upload a karaoke track

Croonify uses the recorded vocals to synchronize lyrics. If the file has no singing, Croonify won’t know where the lyrics go.

Remove annotations from lyrics

Chorus labels, section markers, timestamps, and ads can confuse synchronization. Use only the words you want on screen.

Repeated lines must be repeated in lyrics

If the chorus appears three times in the song, it should appear three times in the lyrics you provide.

Choral songs are harder

Dense layered vocals can be challenging for separation and synchronization. You can usually still get a good result, but it may take a bit more lyric cleanup or timing edits.
